Eissens HR & Legal is an initiative of Geert Jan Eissens. His consultancy firm (advisory practice) operates at the interfaces of HR and Legal. Many clients are growing, or lean and mean organisations, which means full HR & Legal support is lacking or limited. We support organisations to make them grow successfully and sustainably. Our philosophy is based on ‘adding value’ and ‘doing the necessary’.

Our working method is characterized by our knowledge and affinity with the business (growth phase, sector, product/market mix), the right expertise of the HR issue or employment law playing field and the pragmatism we strive for. Geert Jan Eissens is the founder/owner of Eissens HR & Legal, a highly experienced HR generalist with extensive and specialised knowledge in the field of terms and conditions of employment, organisational development and change management and industrial relations as well as practical employment lawyer who understands how risks are excluded and is able to negotiate successfully. Strong business acumen, with extensive. Geert Jan has extensive leadership experience in leading HR teams and adding value to Business divisions and Management / Executive Teams as an HR Business Partner.

He creates conceptually strong and inspiring visions, and is viewed as a trusted advisor and team player for business leaders. Relevant experience and crucial insights into cultural and diversity-related issues, working for several international companies and in an international context, (Europe and US).

A professional with in-depth knowledge and experience in labour relations and qualified employee relations as a practical HR professional and lawyer. Demonstrable track record as an employment conditions specialist, who knows exactly how an appropriate remuneration and employment conditions policy should be developed and then successfully implemented. Broad and valuable experience in negotiating and concluding employment conditions regulations and collective labour agreements, but also social plans in the context of reorganisations with both trade unions and works councils. With years of experience in the pension world, Geert Jan has an impressive track record in pension schemes as part of employment conditions policy. In addition, Geert Jan has been a board member of a medium-sized Corporate Pension Fund for 3 years.
